Sponsors and packages
Register sponsors, define sponsorship packages and track budget and brand exposure.
The sponsorship module exists so you can prove delivery. A sponsor who sees how many times their brand appeared renews; one who only got a photo of the banner doesn’t.
Registering the sponsor
Each sponsor has a name, legal name, tax ID, contact (email and phone), logo, website and description.
The logo is what appears on artwork and the public page, so upload it at a decent resolution: it’s another company’s brand being displayed.
Main sponsor
A sponsor can be flagged as the main sponsor. That’s what sets the headline partner — the one paying most and expecting more prominence — apart from supporters.
Without that flag, everyone appears the same, and the headline sponsor notices.
Budget and exposure
Two controls define how far the contracted exposure goes:
- Total budget and budget used — how much was contracted and how much has been consumed.
- Exposure limit and exposures delivered — the ceiling on brand appearances and how many have happened.
That pair of numbers turns “your logo showed up a lot” into a report with a figure. At renewal time, it’s what justifies the price.
Tip Agree the exposure limit before closing the deal. Selling “unlimited exposure” is easy at the start of the season and hard to explain when the sponsor asks what the return was.
Sponsorship packages
You build sponsorship plans — the packages you sell (gold, silver, supporter) — and link the sponsor to the package they bought.
Having the packages on record avoids negotiating from scratch every conversation and makes clear what each tier delivers.
Sponsorship requests
Beyond registering sponsors yourself, you can receive requests: a company expresses interest and you approve or decline.
It’s for the local business that finds the tournament through the public page and wants to advertise without having a direct line to you.
Linking to a tournament
A sponsor is linked to the tournaments they appear in. The same company can sponsor a single competition or the whole season, with different packages in each.
Frequently asked
Does the sponsor see their own numbers? Budget and exposure data live on the record, inside the organization — you export and send it.
Where does the brand appear? On promotional artwork and on the public pages of the linked tournament.
Do I have to enter a tax ID? The field exists for contracts and invoicing. For informal support, it can stay blank.
