AI assistant and suggestions
How to use the help assistant, the AI text suggestions in forms and the AI-generated match content — and what each plan includes.
Torneyo has several artificial intelligence features, all tied to the organization selected at the top of the screen:
| Feature | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Help assistant | floating robot button, on any screen | answers usage questions based on this help center |
| Text suggestions | Suggest with AI button next to text fields | writes championship descriptions, text rulebooks, feed posts, news, registration invite messages and class descriptions from the form data |
| Match content | match details, Generate with AI button | creates a narrative summary, news article, social post and match analysis |
Beyond that, AI also acts on tasks with your confirmation — conversation mode, voice score entry, pasting a roster from WhatsApp and creating a championship from your rulebook. See AI that acts: voice, rulebook and roster.
None of them is mandatory: the organization administrator can turn each one off under AI settings.
Help assistant
Click the robot in the bottom-right corner. The assistant knows the whole Torneyo documentation and answers in your language, with numbered steps and a link to the article behind the answer. It also knows which organization, plan and screen you are on, so questions like “how many teams can I still register?” take that into account.
What it does not do: make up prices, limits or features. When the answer is not in the documentation, it says so and offers human support.
- Rate answers with 👍 or 👎. On 👎 you can leave a comment. Ratings improve future answers and are read by the team.
- Talk to a human forwards the conversation (the latest messages, your organization and the screen you were on) to support by e-mail. You get the reply at your account’s e-mail.
- The header shows whether the answer came from Torneyo AI (plan quota) or the organization’s AI (own key). See Set up your organization’s AI.
Text suggestions in forms
Next to the championship description, the text rulebook, the text of a feed post, the body of a news article, the registration invite message and the class description there is a Suggest with AI button. It drafts a text using only the data already in the form (name, sport, city, dates, number of teams) and the tone of voice set for the organization.
You can Use the text, Edit before applying, or Discard and ask for another version with an extra instruction such as “shorter” or “mention the sponsor”. Nothing is saved until you apply it.
Match content
On a match with a recorded result, Generate with AI creates four kinds of content from the match sheet: narrative summary, news article, social media post and statistical analysis. The text stays as a draft for you to review and, if you want, publish as championship news. The tone of voice can be set per championship or inherited from the organization.
Who can use it and what it costs
AI consumes tokens (units of processed text) and every plan includes a monthly Torneyo AI quota:
| Plan | AI tokens per month | Roughly |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 50k | 8 to 10 assistant answers |
| Starter | 250k | 40 to 50 |
| Pro | 2 million | heavy use by the whole team |
| Enterprise | set by contract | — |
The quota resets at the start of each month and does not carry over. When it runs out, the AI buttons are disabled and the assistant shows the quota notice with an upgrade shortcut. An organization that sets up its own AI provider key does not consume the plan quota.
Only active members of the organization can use its AI. Besides the quota, there is a safety limit of 20 requests per minute per person.
Privacy
The AI only receives what it needs to answer: team names, scores, the text you type and the form data. CPF, e-mail, phone, address and banking data are removed or masked before sending, and data of minors is never sent. Every call is logged with date, model and tokens for auditing.
