Frequently asked questions
How does the draw with pots work?
You split the teams into pots by strength or any criterion (top seeds in pot 1, and so on). The draw handles one pot at a time and puts at most one team from the same pot in each group, as long as some group still has none from that pot.
What if the teams do not split evenly across the groups?
Group sizes differ by at most one team. With 11 teams in 3 groups you get groups of 4, 4 and 3. With pots, the leftover team of each pot goes to the groups that are currently smaller and changes with every draw.
Is the draw really random?
Yes. Team order is shuffled in your browser, without favouring the order you pasted. Use Draw again to redo it. For a live draw, project the screen and use the animated reveal.
Do I need to sign up?
No. The draw runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. You only need an account to generate group matches, enter results and get automatic standings.
